Liaison Technologies Introduces enterprise data mapping without borders

Monday, April 26, 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Atlanta, GA. – Liaison Technologies, a global leader of integration and data management services, announced today the availability of Contivo Map Intuition. This innovative technology accelerates the data conversion process by simplifying data map creation for analysts and developers. Created based on customer demand and requirements, Map Intuition eliminates the need for laborious and complex hand-coding and reduces the time to create new maps by up to 40 percent in beta testing.

Contivo's powerful write-once, deploy-anywhere portability helps reduce the reliance on a particular B2B/EAI platform vendor with its centralized, semantics-based metadata repository.  The solution offers version control and patented algorithms for collaborative design and execution - dramatically reducing the time, cost, and complexity involved in integration projects.

Map Intuition extends this functionality and uses sample data inputs and expected outputs to create an enhanced Contivo user environment. The Map Intuition tool, as the name suggests, uses advanced machine learning algorithms to immediately apply known data fit-statistics and candidate mapping to create the initial map, which is then tested and confirmed by the developer or analyst. By tracking data positioning and exploiting pattern recognition techniques, Map Intuition creates a framework for the most likely map scenarios, significantly reducing map conversion time and integration cost.

Map Intuition Benefits:
- Enhanced program functions that enable designers and data integration specialists to share and confirm the accuracy of their maps with other departments and customers.
- Simplified movement of maps to and from legacy middleware or hand-coded XSLT.
- Reduced resource needs with greater mapping efficiency.
- Enhanced transaction reporting.

"Modern business environments are more knowledge-based and unpredictable than ever before and need a flexible, more agile enterprise data integration solution that delivers increased productivity and efficiency and enables decision-makers to anticipate and respond to changes more quickly," said Chris Hale, VP of Product Marketing at Liaison. "With Contivo Map Intuition, organizations have the ability to accelerate the data conversion process from multiple disparate sources and dramatically reduce the time, cost, and complexity involved in their integration projects."
