Online Print Solutions introduces Pre-flighting via Pitstop Server

Press release from the issuing company

San Francisco, CA – Online Print Solutions, a world leader in Web-to-Print & Cross-Media software solutions, is excited to offer the power of Pitstop server to OPS clients in a seamless integration through an OEM agreement announced at OnDemand between Online Print Solutions and Enfocus.

Utilizing Pitstop Professional profiles, OPS customers can now have their clients' files pre-flighted before the final job submission as part of the OPS NexJob module.  Any rules and warnings that are found as part of the profiles will be explained to the user after they have uploaded their PDF file and will then allow them to continue with the warning or force them to fix the problems and re-upload the file.  Also, based on the profile, certain warnings or issues can be automatically fixed if so deemed appropriate by the print provider.

"We know that this will enable our customers to enhance their ability to accept jobs over the Internet and allow the artwork to better conform to standard printing practices." says Matt Robison, VP of Application Development for Online Print Solutions.  "With the power of the Pitstop Server and the integration into the OPS NexJob module, the need for extended human intervention is significantly reduced."
