Ultimate's extremely powerful imposition technology combined with the new scalable architecture and developed in cooperation with high-volume digital printers takes the name of Impostrip OnDemand Scalable Server Edition.  The prototype was first staged in Chicago last fall and brought home the 'Worth of Look' mention after being presented in Ultimate's and in HP's booth amongst the partner solutions adapted for the new HP Inkjet T300 press.

Impostrip OnDemand Scalable Server Edition is aimed at resolving the growing bottleneck in PDF imposition due to increasing job sizes and the increasing number of short run jobs that must be printed in a very short time. The Scalable Imposition Server Edition leverages the power of today's multiple core server computers. This exclusive solution is designed to integrate most PDF workflows in a very simple fashion, helping these workflows to deliver extremely fast PDF processing speed. In addition, the Scalable Server Edition offers more automation regarding job variables permitting the same workflow to accomplish various job configurations.  This represents a milestone in the digital printing industry and it further demonstrates Ultimate's continued leadership in the market.

Digital printers with challenging volume of short runs of PDF books and for digital printers specializing in wide PDF personalized campaigns will benefit from OnDemand Scalable Server.  Amongst the first installations planned for 2010 are digital printers focusing on transpromo printing.
