OneVision launches newest version of Voyager

Press release from the issuing company

Regensburg, Germany – OneVision, a global provider of prepress and premedia software solutions to the printing and publishing industries, announced the launch of the newest version of Voyager, a software solution designed to automate file submission and approval. Voyager gives end users the ability to easily upload and submit their files 24/7 to publishers and printers.

The integrated approval process allows each user to accept or reject the real-time proof online, thus minimizing administrative work for both publishing and printing companies and their customers.

The new version of Voyager has seen considerable improvements in terms of usability, user administration and speed: companies producing a broad range of publications will now find additional controls to help manage workflow path access and user permissions. To further enhance automation, Voyager now offers the possibility to set up multiple hot folder configurations, which extend the use of Voyager for automatically submitting and retrieving processed files (round-tripping). In addition, the speed of Voyager has been increased to provide faster throughput in higher volume workflows.

The latest version of Voyager will be on display – along with a variety of other software tools specifically designed to streamline premedia operations – at the IPEX 2010, taking place May 18 - 25 at the NEC in Birmingham. At booth #C240 in hall 11, OneVision will have product experts on hand to give live demonstrations of the new Voyager as well as other OneVision software solutions.

OneVision's customers include national, regional and local newspaper and magazine publishers, as well as digital and commercial printers in more than 60 countries.
