Lake Villa, Illinois - Burnishine Products has announced that Aqua Blue plate cleaner is once again available from graphic arts dealers around the world.  Announcing the availability of the product, Burnishine Products President Roger Giza commented: "The previous owner of Burnishine Products discontinued Aqua Blue, but consistent demand from printers has prompted us to return the product to the marketplace.  Aqua Blue is an acidic cleaner, conditioner, and scratch remover for use on most aqueous metal plates such as those made by Fuji, Agfa, Lastra, and Kodak.  Aqua Blue has an established reputation for extending the life of plates, and it may be applied to plates already on the press, in mid-run.  Aqua Blue removes ink, scum, minor scratches, gum, and oxidation.  It makes plates more receptive to ink and desensitizes plates for longer, higher quality runs, while producing sharper images."
