ROCHESTER, N.Y. Aug. 21, 2003 — Heidelberg and Formscan Inc. are collaborating to integrate Heidelberg’s Digimaster print systems with Formscan’s verification control products. As a result of this collaboration, Digimaster print system customers can further ensure the quality and accuracy of documents printed on the high-volume devices. Formscan’s verification camera systems collect job data in real time and deliver workflow status reports, giving users greater control over document integrity, including data tracking at the document and page levels and page sequence. Typical applications for Formscan’s solutions — which can be customized to meet print businesses’ individual needs — include the production of credit card statements, insurance policies and check printing to ensure the correct job is printed on the correct paper stock and that customer confidential information is properly handled.
