Xerox To Sponsor Executive Outlook Conference

Press release from the issuing company

Reston, VA – The Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC) has announced that for the 10th straight year, Xerox will serve as a sponsor of the EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference. This 15th edition of EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK, the popular full day technology trends conference, will be held in Chicago's McCormick Place on Saturday, October 2, the day before GRAPH EXPO 2010 opens. GRAPH EXPO 2010 is the year's largest graphic communication exhibition and conference in the Americas. It takes place October 3 – 6 in McCormick Place. The EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference provides a unique blend of technology updates, print trends and forecasts, and economic and marketing information to guide graphic communications professionals in how best to use technology to gain a competitive advantage. This year's theme, "The Challenge of Change in the New Era of Print," emphasizes the technological shifts taking place in print and products that are fueling that shift. Representatives from Xerox will also present their own vision of what technology and business challenges lie ahead for the graphic communications industry and how the industry should address them.

"Xerox has been a loyal supporter of the graphic communications industry and of EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK for many, many years, and we are pleased to be able to continue our long-running relationship with them," said Ralph Nappi, President of the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC). "And, given that Xerox has long been at the forefront of addressing and anticipating the industry's biggest challenges through cutting-edge technology, we think they are particularly suited to be a sponsor for this year's conference."

"Each year, the EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference gives GRAPH EXPO attendees a glimpse at the technology fueling opportunities, such as this year's focus on how workflow and business development programs and services are becoming just as critical as the hardware itself," said Gina Testa, vice president, Worldwide Graphic Communications, Xerox Corporation. "Xerox's 10-year sponsorship of the conference demonstrates a mutual respect for technology solutions and the important role it plays in the ongoing success of our industry."

New this year at EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK will be the much-heralded announcement of the Positively Print program award recipients, those graphic communications companies that most successfully promote the power of print in their communications. During the conference luncheon, each nominee will be introduced and recognized for the important role they play in artfully-and effectively-promoting the enduring value, effectiveness and power of print in today's media mix. The EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference will conclude with the announcement of the MUST SEE 'EMS nominees, a roundup of the most intriguing and game-changing technologies and products exhibited at GRAPH EXPO. THE MUST SEE 'EMS are an annual highlight of the EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK closing session and, as the name implies, provide a roadmap of the technologies and products GRAPH EXPO attendees should most see at the show.
