Inkjet, toner and reader response rates: Does print quality affect results? Based on qualitative research by INTERQUEST

Lexington, Kentucky USA -- WhatTheyThink.com today reported that nearly 350 industry professionals registered to attend a free printing industry educational webinar entitled Inkjet, toner and reader response rates: Does print quality affect results?, which was moderated by Cary Sherburne, Senior Editor, WhatTheyThink. Sherburne was joined by industry expert David Davis, of research firm INTERQUEST and two printing executives who have leveraged multiple technologies for success in their businesses.  Sponsored by RISO, the event was held Wednesday, March 24th.

The webinar archive may be viewed at no charge by visiting the webinar archive page. Also available for download in the archive is the INTERQUEST research report that was the basis of this session.

“INTERQUEST conducted a balanced study within the marketing community to determine the effect print quality has on campaign results,” said Sherburne “Identical, non-personalized postcards were sent to two groups, one printed using inkjet and the other using toner  The results are virtually equal.  In addition, our print service provider participants indicated that inkjet quality is sufficient for a growing range of applications, although toner and offset still have a significant role to play.  We were pleased to have David Davis from INTERQUEST join us to present the definitive research on this topic.”
