Neenah adds new product to DURAFORM jean label brand

Press release from the issuing company

Alpharetta, Ga. - Neenah Paper Technical Products DURAFORM  Brand, the globally preferred choice for durable washable saturated papers for jean labels, introduces a new textured product, Safari Tan.  Safari Tan, with a top grain tanned hide and rich caramel color, offers a new dimension and flair to jean labels.  It can be offset, flexo, screen and hot stamp printed, as well as sheeted, die-cut, perforated and hole punched using standard paper processing equipment.  Once ready Safari Tan can be attached to garments by conventional sewing processes and, as an engineered paper highly saturated with latex, it can withstand repeated washings.

"We have built a loyal following worldwide among stringent jeans manufacturers who demand aesthetics in the label as a fashion statement for the most discerning denim brands," explains Charlie Myers, market manager, washable tags at Neenah Paper.

Safari Tan is targeted for new brands and rebranding opportunities for jeans, denim and other garments that require rugged washable tags, even those that will be stone and chemical cleaned.  The product also provides flexibility and heat and tear resistance; all requirements for sewn-on labels.
