IntegraColor acquires The Color Place

Press release from the issuing company

Mesquite, Texas - IntegraColor Ltd, today announced that it has  acquired Dallas-based digital print firm The Color Place.  The acquisition will extend IntegraColor's assets for digital printing in both small and grand formats, permanent and promotional signage, and will also facilitate expansion into the quick turn, short run projects that The Color Place has been known for.  For IntegraColor's client base, this means greater access to a larger variety of print solutions at more competitive prices.

IntegraColor is a privately held visual communications firm with a 55 year history providing specialized print-based solutions to a broad range of commercial clients, including those in the Fortune 500 and horticultural industry.  Posting a record 1st quarter 2010, IntegraColor is beating the odds, growing in an industry that has seen many businesses decline or shut their doors over the past 18 months.

"We are very excited to announce the acquisition of The Color Place, a company known for its agility and quality in producing a full range of small to grand format digital print, internet based solutions, permanent and promotional signage.  This acquisition is another key milestone in our visual communications strategy and is complimentary to all our other offerings.  By combining our capabilities and knowledgeable sales teams,  we are able to broaden the product offerings to both existing and new customers of The Color Place and IntegraColor, "  said Larry C. King, President & CEO of IntegraColor  since 1996.

The acquisition is expected to add an additional $15 - $20 million to IntegraColor's 2010 - 2011 revenues.  According to King, this is just one piece of a multi-phase strategy that IntegraColor is executing this year in the down economic climate.

IntegraColor intends to retain The Color Place team, consolidating equipment and personnel into its headquarters in Mesquite.

"The employees and management of The Color Place are enthusiastic  at the prospect of joining IntegraColor. Together we make a formidable solution provider  in the print industry, offering clients a much more robust set of print solutions delivered by a single vendor partner.  And that's what our clients want – a single partner for all their needs, under one roof,  "  said  Rex V. Jobe, The Color Place CEO,  who founded the company 38 years ago, and plans to stay on with IntegraColor throughout the transition.
