FTS will expand Harper Scholarship fund for Army National Guard

Press release from the issuing company

Fort Mill, SC - Following the incredible success of the Harper Scholarship fund, Flexographic Trade Services is pleased to announce the expansion of this program, to be able to offer all returning Army National Guard soldiers & spouses the opportunity to be retrained for a career in the Flexographic industry.

Art Fields founder of F.T.S. stated, "The unemployment rate for our returning men and women is over 28%, so this program is desperately needed and once again thanks to Ron & Katherine Harper's continued support, we are able to give back to our returning veterans and help them find not only employment, but an entirely new career path."

Flexographic Trade Services' vendor sponsors & member companies constantly tell them how much they need disciplined, dedicated and skilled personnel and they believe that this new scholarship will satisfy everyone's needs.

With their existing program they have already been able to provide 400 qualified students for the Flexographic Printing and Packaging Industry. In several instances the training has even led to a number of new business start ups.

Flexographic Trade Services expects to put at least 100 army students through their program during 2010, but with further sponsorship from the Flexographic Printing and Packaging Industry they have the capacity to train more than double this number.

What Flexographic Trade Services needs are more Sponsors. This is a national program and is open to all military personnel so please consider becoming a sponsor, and help the Flexographic industry to give back to those that have given so much.

All sponsors will get the satisfaction of being able to hire and/or track the progress of the individual student, and will receive a special award from the National Guard for their generosity & support of our troops coming home.
