Color-Logic announces certification of Sappi's McCoy Substrates

West Chester, OH - Color-Logic has announced that Sappi's McCoy Gloss and McCoy Silk substrates have been certified for use with the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System for offset printing.

Announcing the certifications, Color-Logic Chief Technology Officer Richard Ainge commented: "Using the correct stock is key to obtaining the best special effects with the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System.  Our tests show that Sappi's McCoy Gloss and McCoy Silk substrates provide designers with the optimal foundation on which to create an extensive array of metallic spot colors and amazing effects within images."

David Niles, Manager of Printing Technology for Sappi Fine Paper North America said: "Sappi is pleased to partner with Color-Logic, particularly in light of how the system takes full advantage of Sappi's McCoy paper coating technology when producing striking images.  A key aspect of the Color-Logic system is that designers can create special effects and hundreds of metallic colors, while printers can utilize their current printing presses and processes."
