Four Pees to showcase automation and quality optimization at Ipex 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Ghent, Belgium - Four Pees, an international sales and marketing organization dedicated to the Print & Publishing market, is bringing partners and resellers - including axaio, callas, Elpical, Colour Collective and Workflowz - together at Ipex 2010 to show the latest automation and color optimization solutions. The Four Pees exhibit is located in hall 11, stand F222.

New DFlux: modular and advanced automation made easy
Ipex 2010 will be the official worldwide launch platform for Four Pees' new automation solution, DFlux. Based on Enfocus and callas technologies, DFlux provides a full production automation platform and an easy-to-use interface to automate any action, from file reception and routing, PDF checking and correction, to file delivery or output.

DFlux interacts with applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and supports automatic file standardization of a vast series of incoming file formats, greatly reducing the amount of errors and file make-ready time. DFlux is a modular solution that can be expanded with automatic image enhancement and output automation options.

ProofMaster & PrintFactory v4: increased quality and production automation
The recently introduced version 4 of ProofMaster and PrintFactory will also be on display.

ProofMaster Plus builds on basic contract proofing to provide a full range of tools for color, standardization, quality control and correction. ProofMaster Certify is the solution for out-of-the-box, standard compliant proofing.

PrintFactory v4 includes a basic RIP and goes above and beyond to offer a complete solution that covers all aspects of large format production, from file preparation to output and finishing.

axaio MadeToPrint: multi-channel output automation
axaio software GmbH will demonstrate the advantages of its MadeToPrint InDesign Server at Ipex 2010. Enhancing, ensuring and streamlining all output processes from within Adobe's professional layout application, MadeToPrint InDesign Server offers maximum power and flexibility for automatic creation and print production of PostScript, EPS, Flash CS4, SWF, IDML and PDF files. The companion plug-in is aimed at publishing, prepress and graphic arts users who need to process more than five InDesign files a day.

callas software PDF solutions: All-in-one PDF automation from preflighting to archiving
At Ipex 2010, callas software GmbH will showcase pdfToolbox Server version 4.5, an automation solution that offers the complete range of PDF functionality, from preflighting and fixing to impositioning and repurposing. pdfToolbox Server is the ideal engine for print production, PDF/X standard compliant file exchange, presentation preparation, repurposing, or any other type of document analysis or processing.

Specifically for solutions with a web-based front end, callas software has developed an example implementation showing various possible cases of pdfToolbox Server 4 when integrated into a web-portal. Based on the pdfToolbox SDK, it features the use of dynamic preflight profiles, checking the resolution against a value entered by the user, or rendering images to different image file-formats based on user input, for example. The sources of this example implementation will be made available to interested partners and clients.

Elpical Claro 7: The most complete image enhancement workflow
Elpical will release version 7 of its Claro range of image optimization products:
- Claro Layout for desktop image optimization within Adobe InDesign
- Claro Single for server-based fully automatic image optimization
- Claro Premedia, a complete client/server image enhancement solution combining the benefits of server-based image processing with the personal touch of an operator

Elpical offers major improvements in areas such as skin-tone handling and jpeg artifact reduction, as well as in the Claro Individual Image Analysis technology.
This release also focuses on improved workflow with the newest Claro Premedia Job Client, which adds Adobe InDesign integration.

Think globally, act locally
Four Pees will be supported at Ipex 2010 by two local sales and implementation partners at the show: Workflowz & Colour Collective. Workflowz is an integrator with a strong focus on automation & workflow optimization. Workflowz represents brands such as axaio, callas, Elpical and CtrlPublishing.
