Trekk travels to Clemson University

Press release from the issuing company

Rockford, IL - Jeffrey Stewart, Chief Technology Officer at Trekk Cross-Media will be a featured speaker at the Bill Treadaway Print Leadership Forum, held today in Clemson, South Carolina.

Sponsored by the Clemson University Graphic Communications program and made possible by the Bill Treadaway Endowment for Print Leadership, the yearly event presents timely topics to Clemson students, alumni and the industry at large. "Leading with Optimism" is the focus for this year's event, where Stewart will share insights on how the acceleration of change is redefining marketing communications moving forward.

Stewart's presentation will provide an understanding of the social media landscape and explore why the communications world is changing so fast. In this new world full of opportunities to directly influence customer behavior, he will also offer strategies for integrating social media into 'traditional' cross-media campaigns.

At the end of the day-long conference, David Leininger, a Trekk Technical Designer will accept the Graphic Communications Faculty Award of Excellence. Leininger is a recent graduate of the nationally recognized Clemson University Graphic Communications program, which promotes hands-on learning in design, prepress, print production and variable data and web-to-print technologies. The faculty-voted award recognizes overall achievement in advancing the graphic communications major.
