Trend Graphics adds 2nd Sakurai Offset

Thursday, March 25, 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, IL - Sakurai USA recently installed a Sakurai 20" x 29" 5-color sheetfed offset press with coater at Trend Graphics in Huntley, Illinois to meet increased customer demand for its full range of printing services.   This is the second Sakurai offset press purchased by Trend Graphics in less than two years, the first being a half-size, Sakurai 458 four color.

Located in historic Huntley, a fast growing community northwest of Chicago, Trend Graphics was founded in 2001 as a family run operation, co-owned by Robert Gajewski, who handles some sales and overseas the entire production process and his wife Joan, who is responsible for administration and accounting. Their daughter Jeannine Jenkins is Sales Manager and Robert's brother Mike handles pre-press and production.

"We've been fortunate to remain extremely busy during this challenging economy", said Robert Gajewski.  "Prior to purchasing our newest Sakurai, we were running two shifts just to keep up.  Now we're able to offer faster turnaround times on customer jobs, thanks to the Sakurai's full automation, larger format and higher press speeds".

Trend Graphics uses its pair of Sakurai presses to produce everything from instruction manuals and booklets, to catalogs, specialty printing, point-of-purchase materials and now high quality full color with coating for corporate clients.  Their latest, fully automated  29" Sakurai offset press with coater operates at 15,000 sheets per hour and features numerous standard features to increase productivity and performance, including; automatic plate changers; sheet size presets (feeder & delivery); automatic blanket washers and ink roller washers.

"We were so pleased with the Sakurai team that we went back to them a second time when we needed another quality press. When it comes to service and parts, Sakurai responsiveness is second to none. I pick up the phone and they're right there to get things done. It's a great organization", Gajewski added.

Sakurai offers a family of sheetfed offset and cylinder screen presses for every size and need. Our fully automated sheetfed offset presses are available in widths from 20" X 26" to 25" X 38" with coating and perfecting.  Ultra high precision Sakurai screen cylinder presses are available in sizes from 20½" X 28½" to 48" X 63" and are distributed in the United States and Canada by Sakurai USA, backed by customer support, service, parts and training.
