BÖWE BELL + HOWELL's NetSort helps UMS earn USPS Full Service Approval

Press release from the issuing company

Wheeling, IL – United Mailing Services (UMS) is the largest mailing service provider in Wisconsin, with five locations throughout the state. Today BÖWE BELL + HOWELL (BBH) has announced that UMS has achieved USPS Full Service Intelligent Mail discounts using BBH NetSort software to manage the mail.dat file validation process and verify the accuracy and integrity of mailing data uploaded to the PostalOne!  system. UMS is one of 10 multi-line optical character reader (MLOCR) mailers to achieve Full Service certification in the past three months using NetSort.

Built on item-level tracking and a scalable client-server architecture, NetSort enables mailers to not just meet the new USPS requirements for Full-Service use of IMBs but also realize additional revenue opportunities. NetSort is available as an upgrade on a wide range of sorting platforms.

UMS constantly looks for ways to save its clients money, including offering metering and First Class automated presorting. Based in Brookfield, the company also operates facilities in Green Bay, Madison, Wausau and Oshkosh.

BBH offers Full Service webinars to guide its customers through the entire Full Service certification process. The webinars outline the five critically defined steps to becoming a Full Service mailer.
