Taopix appoints new European Commercial Director

Wednesday, March 24, 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Photo book software specialist, TAOPIX, has appointed Alex Granat as its new Commercial Director for Europe. Mr Granat, who officially joined the company on 15th March 2010, will be primarily responsible for increasing sales of the company's flagship TAOPIX Photobook software right across the continent, expanding the company's European dealer channel and developing OEM relationships.

Says James Gray, CEO TAOPIX: "Alex is an outstanding addition to the TAOPIX team and we're very pleased to have him on board. He brings with him extensive industry experience, most recently as a European Sales Manager at Kodak GCG and has a proven track record in developing and delivering national, regional and international sales channels in the graphic arts, digital imaging and photographic industries.  Alex was also an original member of the RealTimeImage team, responsible for the hugely successful RealtimeProof solution in Europe, so he is extremely well-versed at introducing highly innovative products to the market."

Says Alex Granat, Commercial Director, TAOPIX Europe: "I'm joining TAOPIX at a very exciting time for the company and on the back of a great start to 2010. I see my appointment as a chance to be part of a dynamic, rapidly expanding market where the growth opportunities are huge.  And, in my view, TAOPIX is the world leader in this field. It has outperformed all its sales forecasts over the past 12 months and its international support is very impressive.  Most importantly, while the TAOPIX Photobook platform is innovative and pioneering, it is also stable and robust.  This is crucial, as stable, trusted products breed happy, loyal customers."

Concludes James Gray: "With the appointment of Alex, we now have in place all the key executives in our regional operations in Asia, the Americas and Europe. With Ipex 2010 just a couple of months away, it's great to have all our core territories so comprehensively covered and focused on driving sales and building our brand.  We are very confident Alex and his team will replicate the tremendous success we have had in the Americas and Asia over the last 12 months."
