The certificate was awarded in recognition of Océ’s worldwide commitment to environmental protection and performance, and in particular for the environmentally sound features of the Océ VarioPrint 2070 system. The Blue Angel award is issued by the German Institute for Quality Assurance and Certification (www.blauer-engel.de) to products that meet a high standard of ecological performance. Certified products are recognized for achievements such as efficient energy consumption, use of recycled paper and recyclable materials, and low waste.
