Adlam Films introduces a high quality film at reduced cost

Press release from the issuing company

Shannon, Miss. - The innovative team at Adlam Films has developed a new coated lamination film that costs 10 to 20 percent less than their top-rated Coverlam film but meets their same high standards of quality and performance.

Adlam Films produces top-quality American-made coated films, laminates, packaging and industrial products. Adlam's newest coated film, Smartlam, is made with a special process that uses a different blend of resin than traditional Coverlam, meaning it costs less to produce. Adlam Films will pass this savings on to its customers.

"Smartlam is similar to Coverlam in almost every way," said John Bryce, CEO of Adlam. "Strength, flexibility, tight seals, chemical resistance - every attribute meets the high standards we have established for quality and consistency at Adlam Films."

Smartlam is available in a range of gauges, 1.7, 3.0, 5.0 and 10, just like traditional Coverlam. Coverlam is still available in a wide range of thicknesses and grades. For a wider variety of sizes, customers can still trust Coverlam to meet their specific needs.

"We respond to customer needs-that's one of our values. And if our customers needed a more economical product, we were determined to make it for them," Bryce said.

Late last year, Adlam introduced a budget-friendly alternative to Doculam, another of its top selling films. Doculite is produced with less resin, reducing its cost. In just a few months, it has become Adlam's top-selling product.
