EskoArtwork to 'Connect More!' with customers and partners at Ipex 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Gent, Belgium – EskoArtwork, a global supplier and integrator of innovative solutions for packaging, commercial printing, sign and display and professional publishing, will 'Connect More' in Hall 12, Stand C150 during Ipex 2010.

EskoArtwork will present its state of the art solutions through comprehensive, hands-on demonstrations, providing visitors extensive and focused information to help them support their own customers more efficiently. In doing so, EskoArtwork brings its customers to new levels of industrialization and standardization to, ultimately, remove cost and time out of the design to print process, and improve quality.

"Our industry has been resilient enough to be encouraged about the future. We believe that this optimism will be apparent at Ipex, and EskoArtwork intends to be a part of it," comments Carsten Knudsen, EskoArtwork CEO. "EskoArtwork has always been a leading technology trendsetter –think of our efforts to integrate end-to-end solutions for brand management, streamline prepress and pre-production automation, and the adoption of digital print– setting out important milestones for the future of our industry. EskoArtwork looks forward to connecting more at Ipex, showing EskoArtwork solutions that integrate well with third-party applications, and building strong relationships with our customers and industry partners."

On a number of demonstration 'pods', EskoArtwork will be exhibiting Suite 10, a major release of its software solutions for commercial printing, packaging prepress, 3D structural design and quality assurance, collaboration and automation, and color management. Visitors can follow demonstrations of Suite 10, including the new Automation Engine 10 and new version 10 releases of all editor applications: ArtPro 10, PackEdge 10, DeskPack 10, ArtiosCAD 10 and Studio 10. The workstation software is more integrated than ever before with Automation Engine 10 which adds new dimensions and capabilities to the automation of repetitive tasks, and taking human interaction out of the prepress production process, thus saving considerable time and money.

The company's Kongsberg product line of CAM products for packaging, sign and display and digital printing markets will be a second highlight of the stand. The Kongsberg XP will show visitors how to move into 24/7-operation for cutting and finishing packaging and displays. Meanwhile, the newly automated Kongsberg i-XE10 is a versatile and productive digital finishing system, perfect for all kinds of commercial print, digital print, smaller signs and displays, and other digital finishing work.

The third highlight on the EskoArtwork booth is Digital Flexo, comprised of Cyrel Digital Imagers (CDIs) and related integrated software products. Within the past year, EskoArtwork introduced its groundbreaking 4000 dpi HD Flexo technology, capable of producing plates with near-offset quality with the help of advanced screening. On display will be an all-purpose CDI 4260 providing exceptional flexo plates for the flexible packaging and paperboard packaging markets.

Connecting with more partners
EskoArtwork understands that successful integration with other industry suppliers allows its customers access to complete solutions. While plans for Ipex are still being finalized, EskoArtwork expects to demonstrate cooperative efforts with more than a dozen partners. Reflecting the technology trends in the industry, the focus of many of the partnerships will be on digital printing. Visitors can expect to see EskoArtwork efforts with HP (Indigo and Scitex), Canon, Epson, Xerox and CDI partners DuPont, sister company Enfocus, CERM, Xeikon, ExxonMobil, Sun, among others to be announced.

"The global attention of the graphic arts industry will be focused on Ipex this year. A significant number of new products and technologies promised at drupa have subsequently been rolled out. Ipex is an opportune event to show the world the current state of EskoArtwork solutions for our industry. EskoArtwork looks forward to presenting its range of strongly innovative solutions, reinforcing our role as a leading player in our markets," concludes Knudsen.
