August 14, 2003 -- Emtex, the output management software specialists, today announces the appointment of Timothy Moylan as President of Emtex USA. Reporting directly to John Durham, Emtex’s Managing Director, Tim will be responsible for heading up sales, marketing and support for the Emtex US business; including sales distribution, managing channel sales and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Prior to joining Emtex, Tim served as Vice President for Océ’s Software and Solutions Group at Océ Printing Systems USA. Initially as one of the founders of the company’s U.S. Printer division and then Vice President of Marketing, he developed, managed and launched premiere printer brands as well as the company’s open print server concept. Following promotion to Vice President, of the Demand Print and Publishing Unit and then the Software and Solutions Group for the company, Moylan continued to launch and manage new systems and software that offered new market penetration and continued expansion for Océ, whilst providing vital strategic planning and corporate direction. More significantly in the mid to late 1990’s Moylan played an instrumental part in establishing the OEM distribution agreement between Océ and Emtex, which saw an early version of the Emtex VIP solution used as part of the Océ Prisma Xplus (PS8000) solution. This relationship alone enabled Océ to sell hundreds of printers and successfully enter the workflow market space. ‘Tim couldn’t have made this move to Emtex at a better time, with the marketplace ever more realising the true superiority of the Emtex VIP and VDE solutions. Tim brings a wealth of experience and knowledge within the production printing and output management world to Emtex and has an impressive performance record during his 28 years within the industry.
