Darby Litho adds Canon digital press

Press release from the issuing company

Branchburg, NJ – Darby Litho Inc, an 83 year old commercial printer, has purchased a Canon Image PRESS C6000VP digital printing press.

This machine will enable Darby to produce high quality, on-demand short run digital printing.   The press produces 1200 x 1200 dpi color and black-and-white printing at consistently high production speeds.  This allows Darby to deliver high quality with quick turn-around at competitive prices.  The in-line wire stitch feature makes quick work of booklets and programs.

The press can run paperweights up to 110# cover lending itself to an enormous variety of paper stock options enabling customers to truly customize their printed pieces.  The addition of this machine further enhances Darby's wide range of printing and print related services.

Darby Litho is also implementing the use of new VDP (Variable Data Printing) software.  Once fully installed the software will allow for printing of personalized mailings, booklets, brochures and a multitude of other pieces.  The use of VDP will allow Darby's clients to create documents that are one of a kind with personalization for each recipient.  This process has been proven to increase customer response therefore providing a better ROI on the client's marketing dollar.
