Bottomline Ink enters handwriting and variable tear-sheet market

Press release from the issuing company

Perrysburg, OH – Bottomline Ink has finalized the acquisition of certain assets and technologies from the Waterville, Ohio based, Bolt from the Blue.  The new capabilities will add several niche marketing products to Bottomline Ink's VDP line of products.

"Over the last two years, Bottomline Ink has been building its Variable Data Print line of products.  This new equipment, software and human capital significantly expand our specialty marketing offerings.  It is really exciting work" says Bottomline's President, Mike Davison.

In today's economy, businesses are continually looking for new ways to break through the clutter, to get their messages heard, and to truly connect with their public on a personal level.  Bottomline Ink's new "extreme personalization" methodologies do exactly that.  New offerings as a result of the acquisition include: real hand-addressed envelopes, variable data tear sheets, yellow letter marketing, and direct-smile photorealistic imaging.
