My Press Needs launches AutoClam

Press release from the issuing company

Tampa, FL – My Press Needs demonstrated its new technology for the first time at Graphic Of The Americas. The AutoClam die cut and combo-embossed pocket folders in one pass with no nicks for a worldwide audience and received great interest from companies that need a versatile press for a wide range of materials with varying sheet sizes and thicknesses.

"Since Graphics Of The Americans showcases the best printing technology worldwide, it has become an excellent indicator of a product's success," said Robert Weidhaas, President of My Press Needs LLC. "While our U.S. customers said they needed a press with a larger range of sheet sizes and the tonnage to tackle challenging jobs, we had no idea how the global print industry would respond until Graphics of The Americas."

Companies from Columbia, Brazil, Peru, as well as other countries have watched as the AutoClam die cut and embossed materials with unparalled set up times and consistent operation.

My Press Need's 16 years of market research indicated that companies needed not only speed and strength from a press, but a larger range of sheet sizes. In response to this growing demand, My Press Needs LLC engineered the AutoClam, which can run sheet sizes from 7.75" x 10.75" up to 21.5" x 31."

The AutoClam allows users to quickly alternate between die cutting, foil stamping and embossing based on its easy to use micrometer impression control, servo driven programmable foil puller, easy to adjust vacuum feeder and touch screen operator interface.
