Universal millennium acquires Acme

On January 27, 2010 Westwood, MA.-based Universal Millennium ("UM"), a portfolio company of Calvert Street Capital Partners, acquired the assets of Wilmington, MA.-based Acme Printing Company, LLC ("Acme"), from the Matlet Group.  The transaction brings together two of the largest and most respected independent graphic communications companies in New England, further expanding the depth of  capabilities available to UM's clients, and cementing a powerful foundation for the company's further growth up the marketing services value chain. "Acme has a rich history providing exceptional service and high quality commercial print and direct mail products to local, regional and national clients," said Bill Fitzgerald, UM's CEO. "Together, our company is even better positioned to  provide customers with a powerful suite of capabilities--including Web-to-print, e-delivery,  digital print, sheetfed print,  heatset web offset, bindery, promotional products, fulfillment, distribution, mailing and data management services--across three state-of-the-art facilities."

• Data management, data analytics and IT-driven marketing solutions and a "program selling" approach nationally.
