ITHACA, NY -- Wilcox Press has named William Peter Post to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer. Post, a 21-year veteran with Wilcox Press, has been the driving force behind the company's renewed vision and energy. When many printing firms were downsizing and leaving the industry, Post lead Wilcox Press into an ambitious restructuring plan. Beginning with the purchase and installation of a second Heidelberg M130 web press and including the development of eService , the company's expert team of customer focused digital service professionals, Post has revitalized Wilcox Press to take advantage of opportunities created by others leaving the market. Under his guidance the company has been able to grow their sales by nearly 14%. Through his leadership, the company has embarked on an impressive campaign to promote and recruit skilled print craft-persons from across the country. Professional Customer Service Representatives, Color Management Technicians, as well as Mailing, Distribution and Fulfillment Specialists have found ample opportunities for growth at Wilcox Press. Support and development of current employees has not been overlooked. Kenny Hancharik has been promoted to the position of Plant Manager as part of this bold revitalization campaign. With nearly nineteen years of experience with Wilcox Press, many of them working directly with customers, Hancharik offers insight and understanding in managing the company's production systems and processes. Hancharik is the catalyst for technological development within Wilcox Press. Most recently he has been instrumental in launching the new eService Department in identifying new digital services that will best serve the Wilcox Press customers. His experience as a print craftsman, combined with boundless energy and dedication, is a perfect compliment to the vision of the company.
