GFI Innovations moves to 20,000 square foot facility

Press release from the issuing company

Gurnee, IL - GFI Innovations, Inc. is pleased to announce the relocation of their headquarters to a 20,000 square foot facility in Gurnee, IL.

Since 2006, GFI Innovations has seen a steady increase in demand for their popular Mx-Series ink dispensing system, necessitating an expansion of their manufacturing facilities.

"We're excited about the move, and thankful our technology has been such an effective solution for printers looking to reduce costs in this trying marketplace," says Robert Luehrsen, Director of Technology at GFI.

The upgrade in capacity gives GFI's manufacturing team nearly 15,000 square feet of floor space to work with. Luehrsen is grateful for the steady growth.

"We're privileged and proud to be an American manufacturing firm that's growing in this economy. Not only are we quadrupling our manufacturing space, we're expanding our office footage to accommodate a growing staff. Timing couldn't be better."

Included in the layout of the new building is a state of the art color lab, including all of GFI's products, as well as X-Rite color measurement devices.

"The color lab is great because printers can interact with the equipment and really get a feel for how they would benefit from our technology. It will also act as a teaching facility for new customers looking for an affordable, hands-on training experience."

GFI Innovations' popular Mx-Series paste ink dispensing system allows printers to quickly and precisely blend their own Pantone and custom match colors in-house, saving time and money. Most of GFI's customers have seen decreases in their Spot color ink spend by 30-50%. This is accomplished by reducing the price per pound of ink, and eliminating excess waste.
