MetaCommunications updates Spark! Document Reviewer

Iowa City, IA - MetaCommunications today announced the release and immediate availability of Workgroups 2010 package 162.4. This latest release includes significant usability enhancements to the Spark! browser-based document reviewer plus bug fixes and performance improvements for the Workgroups 2010 project management suite. Updates to Spark! are described on the Developer Center Blog.
 
"Since its release, Spark! has been a hit with customers," said Robert T. Long, Executive Vice President at MetaCommunications. "Due to the excitement behind it, we decided to use this maintenance release as an opportunity to deploy some exciting new features that customers have requested in Spark!"

 
New Spark! usability features include a Workflow Bar tabbed interface that makes previous reviews and versions of a document easily accessible to managers and users. An additional sidebar provides users with the ability to quickly view all review statuses, dates, and notes for each reviewer. Updates to Workgroups 2010 include bug fixes and performance improvements.

Availability

The new document scanning and OCR workflow capabilities are included in Workgroups 2010 Package 162.3, which is available for immediate download on the MetaCommunications website (login required)
