Thursday, October 02, 2003

Press release from the issuing company

Harwick, PA – With more than a seven year history delivering world-class personalized print and variable data tools, Think121 has grown beyond its original mission. The company has customers using its software and workflows in an impressive variety of applications ranging from web-enabled customization and print procurement systems to point-of-sale collateral creation, financial, marketing and healthcare documents, on-demand book and newspaper publishing. "We've established a manufacturing process using PDF," says company president Todd Kueny. "Users are able to assemble graphic arts content under the control of an automated system to efficiently drive almost any output device. This has opened the door for instant web-based personalization with live preview, variable data proofing and a print output channel for enterprise content management systems, to name just a few." The evolution of the company and the uses for its products and services includes the new name of Lexigraph. "Variable Data printing is a huge part of our business, but we had grown beyond one-to-one marketing. The new name is an indication that our tools and techniques come into play wherever Data meets Design," says Gregory Pegher, Lexigraph's VP and COO. The name Lexigraph comes from the Greek words "lexis" for "a set of words" and "graphikos" for the science or art of drawing, It describes the company's patented lexigraphic process that uses data to precisely drive text and imagery. Lexigraph will continue to support the worldwide installed base of users, resellers and OEM partners as it moves to expand into new areas where it can bring the powerful workflow and tool set into play.
