i-cut, inc. enters into OEM agreement with Tianjin LIMAC Technology Co., Ltd

Press release from the issuing company

Lake Geneva, WI – i-cut, Inc., an EskoArtwork OEM business unit, announces it has signed an OEM agreement with Tianjin LIMAC Technology Co., Ltd. (LIMAC), located in Tianjin, China, licensing use of its i-cut Vision Control systems for LIMAC's router systems.

Tianjin LIMAC Technology Co., Ltd., located in Tianjin, China, is a high-tech company that manufactures an extremely versatile and reliable CNC router at an affordable price for customers from all kinds of industries, including sign making, woodworking, cabinet making, metal working, furniture, sheet plastic fabrication, and non-ferrous sheet metal machining applications. LIMAC CNC routers can work with almost all CAD/CAM software, and have a number of functions for varied requirements.

Vision control is necessary with digital finishing systems because all printed materials contain size, rotation and scaling distortions that produce inaccurate routing, if not corrected. Using i-cut Vision Pro, print material specifications are taken from the work stream – including cutting keys that supply operators with optimized tool settings and blade/bit recommendations – and are processed with preset parameters. This makes the finishing set-up even easier and simplifies the tasks necessary for starting each unique job. Subsequently, set-up times are minimal – and in many cases, virtually eliminated.

LIMAC will be incorporating i-cut Vision Pro to offer more accurate and faster routing for its machines. With i-cut Vision Pro, by eliminating a pen lift with multi-pass routing, jobs are completed faster. A new registration algorithm delivers improved quality with placement registration. A new, advanced help system is available from all dialogs, with multimedia teaching videos, schematics, and animations, to make operation easier.

"We are honored to be selected by LIMAC to offer our i-cut Vision system as part of their CNC routers," comments Steve Bennett, EskoArtwork Vice President, Sign & Display Business. "LIMAC Routers are known as very cost-competitive and efficient, and the addition of our i¬-cut Vision system will make their routers even more effective."

"LIMAC builds CNC routers that provide exceptional quality," comments Mr. Johnson Liu, LIMAC President. "The use of the i-cut Vision system provides our customers even greater control over their work, and allows us to offer world-class routers."
