Press release from the issuing company

NEW ORLEANS, LA – A recent report issued by the Magazine Publishers Association sited magazine ad pages had decreased 25.6% in 2009 compared to 2008.  During the same period SendMyAd, the Software as a Service web based ad portal added more than 500 new titles.  SendMyAd improves and streamlines the process of advertisers supplying ad materials to publishers.
Michael Esposito, Vice President of Operation, Hachette Filipacchi Media U. S., commenting on their experience with SendMyAd stated, "With SendMyAd, production efficiency has increased by 30%, helping the team manage productivity better. The operations team can use dashboard features to determine ad page volume monthly by title, or, if necessary, daily. Attaining a live view of volume levels helps HFM U.S. maximize resources by enabling a strategically sourced work environment. "We are prepared to handle our labor-intensive work cost-effectively during periods of both peaks and valleys. SendMyAd helps us efficiently project peak volume periods so we can allocate resources accordingly. Our goal is to plan in advance to have resources available to work on files that best fit our capabilities. The end result is a quicker production turnaround at lower cost levels."

With SendMyAd, ad materials can be uploaded, preflighted, approved, and delivered to the publisher or their printer all within a simple to use web portal.  It provides both the publisher and advertiser with an interactive preflight report highlighting the results of preflight tests performed against the publisher's ad specifications.  With an easy to use trim-editing tool, ads can be repositioned and trimmed to fit the publisher's ad specification without resubmitting or leaving the ad portal.  SendMyAd creates a PDF/X-1a and retains all job ticket and history as metadata, which become a permanent part of the ad file.  Finally, SendMyAd delivers the ad to the publisher, ready for placement in the magazine. The final ad and all related assets are stored on the SendMyAd portal for pickup in a later publication.  SendMyAd provides the publisher with all the tools necessary to manage their ad production online.

The benefits of SendMyAd to magazine publishers are:
?    Extended sales period due to later closing date.
?    Less time processing ads by eliminating preflighting or cropping - ads are received ready to go into production.
?    No need to chase advertisers to correct ads received with errors.
?    Software as a Service makes it easy to start using SendMyAd with no involvement from your IT Department.

Charles Blanchard, CEO of SendMyAd and Blanchard Systems stated, "Our customers tell us they are being called upon to do more with less in this economic downturn in order to save time and money.  SendMyAd is the perfect solution to tackle these issues.  Customers are reporting productivity increases of 30% or more using SendMyAd to automate the process of advertisers supplying ad materials.
Charles Blanchard went on to say, Features such as the Trim/Edit Tool make it possible for advertisers to deliver print ready ads to the publisher.  This represents a big savings.  You no longer have to open the file, preflight and reposition the ad before placing it for production.  This is one of the ways SendMyAd makes it possible to do more with less."
