Press release from the issuing company

Chicago, IL – GPA, a widely recognized leader in providing specialty substrates for HP Indigo presses, proudly announces a new partnership with Mohawk Fine Papers. This partnership demonstrates GPA’s commitment to offering innovative solutions, world-class products and ensuring that the highest quality papers are readily available. The combination of GPA’s technical expertise, service and distribution with the heritage of Mohawk’s papermaking capabilities makes this an ideal partnership.

GPA now stocks a wide range of Mohawk’s most popular items for same-day shipment. The new offering includes the legendary brands Superfine, Strathmore, Beckett, Via, Options, 50/10 and Kromekote, spanning a range of finishes and textures for a variety of applications, from direct mail to consumer photo. Mohawk’s extensive portfolio of papers formulated with i-Tone® guarantees exceptional ink transfer and adhesion on HP Indigo presses, resulting in better performance, higher productivity and reduced cost.

Mohawk papers are manufactured with high environmental standards and sustainable practices, with 100% of the electricity from renewable windpower. Now, GPA features their broad selection of papers that are also carbon neutral, recycled, FSC certified and Green Seal certified. GPA is proud to be aligned with a company whose high environmental standards provide a mutually beneficial arrangement for their customers and the environment.

"We're very excited about our new partnership with Mohawk, a fellow HP Global Preferred Media Partner and one of the most respected paper mills in the world. The strategic partnership between GPA, the market share leader in providing digital media to the HP Indigo community, and Mohawk provides our customers access to the broadest range of quality HP Indigo papers available in North America today," said Mike Ratcliff, President of GPA.
