Geoffrey Hibner Named Banta CFO

MENASHA, Wis., Aug. 11 -- Banta Corporation today announced the appointment of Geoffrey J. Hibner as Chief Financial Officer, effective today. Hibner, 53, was most recently with Bridge Associates, LLC, a New York City-based management consulting firm. He succeeds current Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Gerald A. Henseler, who will be retiring in October, after a distinguished 37-year career with Banta. Prior to joining Bridge, Hibner was with The Timberland Company, Stratham, NH, a global leader in the branded footwear, apparel and accessories markets, serving as Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration, and Chief Financial Officer from 1997 to 2000. He was Chief Financial Officer of Frontier Technologies Corporation, Mequon, WI, from 1995 to 1997, and he spent the prior seven years as Vice President of Finance for Universal Foods Corporation, Milwaukee, WI, now known as Sensient Technologies Corporation. "Geoff brings us great breadth and depth of executive leadership experience and is a superb addition to our senior team," said Banta President and Chief Executive Officer Stephanie A. Streeter. "He has led the financial activities at three public companies, with significant responsibilities for acquisitions, international business expansion, financial controls, treasury and investor relations. We look forward to having Geoff build on his outstanding track record as he helps Banta accelerate its growth, while maintaining the corporation's strong financial health." Hibner earned an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Purdue University.
