Rhapso acquires Neugebauer, a European leader in software for the corrugating industry

Press release from the issuing company

Palaiseau – In April 2009 Rhapso secured a new funding through I Source and OTC AM, its two private equity shareholders. This capital helped making the acquisition of Neugebauer Ingenieurbüro, the activities of which are organized around the PC-Topp solution. PC-Topp is recognized worldwide as a top-of-the art software. As of now Rhapso Group is represented in Nuremberg thanks to its newly created subsidiary 'Neugebauer Rhapso GmbH'.

PC-Topp takes advantage of more than 30 years of experience in the software for the packaging franchise; the solution is available in 13 different languages. Thanks to its customers and over years Neugebauer Rhapso GmbH has been able to launch and to develop a very comprehensive Scheduler Engine for both corrugators and transformers. It combines the power of an expert solution with the benefits brought by a Web Server Application. PC-Topp obviously complements Rhapso EmaPack MIS, designed for the packaging industry.

"Combining Rhapso and Neugebauer Ingenieurbüro triggers the emergence of an European hub of services, servicing both the packaging and the printing industry; we are clearly able to provide our customers with breaking through solutions bringing  added productivity & efficiency to their organizations", says Bruno Joseph, Rhapso CEO.

"We are delighted to join forces with leading the pack Rhapso group, at a time when we were looking for backing our activities on a business player able to keep our growth momentum on a sustainable basis" adds Rainer Neugebauer. As of the deal Rainer Neugebauer has been appointed as Managing Director of Neugebauer Rhapso GmbH.
