Livonia, Mich. - Valassis, one of the nation's leading media and marketing services companies, announced today that it is bringing the management of its Valassis Lists products in-house to both grow this business and strengthen client relationships.

Valassis has built and maintains the largest mailing list in the country with 151 million addresses.  Updated weekly using the most stringent list hygiene standards, it is the most accurate and comprehensive list in today's marketplace, second only in size to the U. S. Postal Service 's (USPS) address file. In fact, the data Valassis uses is the same data that is made available in the industry by the USPS and is identical to what the USPS uses to manage their own internal sorting of the mail.

Valassis will continue to work with the American List Counsel (ALC), which has provided excellent service as our List Manager, until March 5, which is when the transition will be complete. Valassis will continue to utilize its existing fulfillment company, NFocus Consulting, Inc. as a fulfillment and technology partner.
