ALG Worldwide Logistics increases acquires new co-mail operating line

Bolingbrook, IL – ALG Worldwide Logistics announced today the expansion of their co-mailing capabilities and increase in overall operating capacity with the acquisition of a new SIM 36-pocket co-mail line and the expansion of existing equipment to 36 pockets.  The new line will have 34 standard pocket feeders and 2 thin pocket feeders to accommodate periodical and standard flat product down to 8 pages with a 60# cover stock. 

The acquisition of new equipment and the expansion of existing equipment will enable ALG to provide unrivaled flexibility in scheduling, increased weekly pool sizes and quantities which will equate to maximized postage savings for ALG's participating clients.  These changes will raise ALG's overall pocket capacity by 43% and pooling capacity by an estimated 38% with four operating co-mail lines being housed in ALG's state-of-the-art facility in Bolingbrook, IL.  The new operating equipment is scheduled to be installed in June of 2010 and operational by July of 2010.  ALG has also reserved a manufacturing schedule with SIM Products to begin production on its 5th operating co-mail line within calendar year 2010.
