O'Neil Data Systems selects DocuLynx for archival and retrieval solutions

Press release from the issuing company

Mercury Software's extensive capabilities provides O'Neil with advanced storage and quicker retrieval for documents

DocuLynx Inc., a leading provider of archive retrieval, electronic distribution, and Web presentment solutions for print service providers, today announced that O'Neil Data Systems, a leading provider of technology-driven marketing communications and publishing solutions, has selected DocuLynx's Mercury Software for the convenience, speed of document retrieval, and the assurance of document integrity it brings to its clients' highly personalized member communications. DocuLynx's Mercury Software allows users to easily index, search, and print statements made available in a PDF format over the Web and makes possible quick searches of even the largest databases, reducing the time it takes to retrieve documents. Another important factor in O'Neil's choice is Mercury's ability to guarantee the true fidelity of a document and the ease of locating individual statements within very large files, both without comprising security.

"Imagine the challenge that someone in customer service faces when he has to sort through numerous PDFs to find a specific document generated on a particular day," said Jim Lucanish, general manager for O'Neil Data Systems. "With Mercury Software, we're able to create complex searches that weren't possible before, and we're in a better position to meet the needs of clients whose customers are demanding high-speed retrieval and delivery of their personalized information."

O'Neil Data Systems, which has clients in such industries as healthcare, education, financial, manufacturing, retail, software and hardware, transportation, and travel and hospitality, has plans in 2010 to further incorporate DocuLynx's archival solutions by offering clients searchable CDs of their products that they can share with their distributors. Additionally, O'Neil is using Mercury to convert its own internal files to online storage.

"Having enhanced document retention and retrieval capabilities further solidifies O'Neil Data Systems' reputation for excellence in document management," said Terry Wieczorek, president and chief executive officer of DocuLynx. "We're pleased that by using our Mercury Software solutions, O'Neil is able to offer an even higher level of service to its client base."
