HarperScientific adds easy loading unit to family of anilox sleeve storage racks

Press release from the issuing company

Charlotte, N.C. – The HarperScientific division of global anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation is now taking orders on its new line of easy loading protective racks for anilox roller sleeves.

The new EL SleeveWrak system secures anilox roller sleeves in a vertical position to help reduce the possibility of sleeve distortion and damage during off-press storage.

An extension of the popular SleeveWrak family of anilox sleeve storage options, new EL (Easy Loading) models feature an improved top guide and locking mechanism.

The new upper guide retracts, enabling the bottom of the sleeve to be placed on the lower guide first. That way, the rack base carries the sleeve weight as the sleeve is maneuvered into the storage position. Then, the upper guide is lowered and the sleeve secured.

This enhanced design ensures easier sleeve handling and convenient storage even for sleeves weighing 35 pounds and measuring up to 70 inches long.

A full-length rubber mat on the base plate of the EL SleeveWrak protects sleeves from chipping during storage. The standard EL SleeveWrak holds up to 12 sleeves; the optional EL SleeveWrak Plus offers an 18-sleeve capacity, depending on sleeve diameter.

Both versions are built with heavy duty casters for extended service and can be configured to handle many sizes of sleeves. In addition to sleeve racks, HarperScientific supplies sleeve covers, padded and non-padded roll covers, cleaners, brushes, ink proofers, sponges, chip fixing products and more to the worldwide anilox market.
