Q.I. Press Controls closes large deal

Press release from the issuing company

Oosterhout -- With a daily circulation of almost a half million newspapers, Corelio is the biggest newspaper publisher of Belgium. With its extremely well-known titles such as De Standaard, Het Nieuwsblad, De Gentenaar and Jobat en Les Editions de l'Avenir, they reach approximately  58% of the total Belgian population.

Q.I. Press Controls received its first order from the Belgian market leader four years ago. At that time Corelio purchased a KBA Commander with the Intelligent Register System(IRS) for the automatic control of both colour and cut-off register.

The relationship between Corelio and Q.I. Press Controls has been a special one from the beginning. In addition at this time, KBA and Q.I. Press Controls were in collaboration with Corelio regarding the development of an automatic fan-out system, consequently the IRS closed loop fan-out system was installed on one of the towers. Thanks to an intensive working relationship between all parties involved, the system delivered astonishing results.

Corelio has recently been kind enough to award Q.I. Press Controls the order to equip their existing manroland COLORMAN and KBA Commander presses, that consists of no less than 20 4/4 towers. This order is for the markless colour control system (IDS), automatic colour- and cut-off register system (mRC+ with micro marks), including automatic fan-out and the quality management system (IQM).

Q.I. Press Controls is of course extremely proud to be awarded this order, the partnership between the two companies has of course grown during the past years and is we hope, a reflection of the trust in our technology, service and support that will guarantee a successful implementation in this project.
