manroland holds successful Graphics Canada 2009

Press release from the issuing company

The recent Graphics Canada show in Toronto generated plenty of interest.  manroland products and services attracted the attention of Canadian bindery shops and commercial printers looking to improve or expand their operations in 2010.  Show attendees expressed interest in manroland's PRINTVALUE program and its offset press solutions, in addition to MBO and Dick Moll products that were operational and on display in the booth.

"A sign of the improving economy was the number of customers we talked with about new projects," said Michael Mugavero, VP of Sales for manroland Canada Inc.  "We typically see owners and presidents of printing companies discussing press projects, but at this show there were also Operations people who increasingly are getting a voice in the buying decision.  Automation features are a key subject when discussing press options and these people have been doing their homework."

manroland Canada joined MBO and Dick Moll once again to feature post-press equipment.  A Moll Regal system with hot melt and an MBO T535 had a steady stream of interested buyers. There was also much interest in manroland's new ProServ Flex, the latest PRINTVALUE program with over 30 preventive maintenance components to help sheetfed offset customers optimize the life cycle costs of their press operation.

"With so much customer interest, it is evident that printers are seeing the perform-ance advantages of using tested and proven quality consumables by printcom," quipped manroland Canada printservices consultant Pierre Pare.  The company also sponsored Dr. Joe Webb's seminar, Print – What's Next?  The session was well attended and manroland booth visitors were able to meet with Dr. Joe to discuss the details of his forecasts and market analysis.
