RSA Launches EPSPro for Xerox Enterprise Printing Systems

Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, New York, August 7, 2003 - Rochester Software Associates (RSA) announced the launch and immediate availability of EPSPro, productivity software for Xerox EPS printers. RSA’s EPSPro provides additional functionality and flexibility to satisfy the needs of customers printing LCDS data streams natively on Xerox Enterprise Printing Systems, from the DocuPrint 75 to the DocuPrint 180s. RSA’s EPSPro is an integrated software solution that runs on the EPS print controller. EPSPro is comprised of six key software modules that extend the competitive advantage of the Xerox EPS printers. These included: more connectivity options (including ESCON channel) to receive jobs from virtually any source, automatic resource management, reprint capabilities for complete or partial printing, job leashing, a FDL compiler which enables operators to edit and compile print resources in one easy step, and EPS/Secure enabling secure end-to-end communication of encrypted data. “EPSPro is designed to compliment and expand upon the functionality of Xerox Enterprise Printing System products,“ stated Ryan Kiley, RSA Manager Sales Engineering. “With EPSPro more of the customer’s existing LPS workflow is emulated, and typically manual processes are automated for increased production. Its low entry price makes it an attractive option for customers interested in increasing productivity of existing equipment, without making a significant time or financial investment.”
