KBA North America, a global press manufacturer based in Dallas, Texas, is pleased to announce that John Raithel, KBA senior vice president of sheetfed sales, has been elected to the 2010 Printing Industries of America Board of Directors for a three year term representing the PI of Michigan affiliate. An installation ceremony took place November 15, 2009 at the Printing Industries fall administrative meetings in Charleston, S.C. The Printing Industries Board of Directors meets twice a year in the spring and fall.
 
"I am honored to be elected to this important post where I'll be able to meet with industry colleagues and represent both my home state of Michigan and its printing industry members as well as KBA North America," says Raithel. "With my years of experience in visiting printing plants of all sizes and in all segments I look forward to contributing my input to this important task of serving Printing Industries' membership."
 
Raithel joins the Board of Directors along with newly-elected members Richard Sevigny of Chromatic Inc. Lithographers, Glendale, CA; and Gina Testa of Xerox, Webster, NY. The Printing Industries Board of Directors for 2010 includes Chairman of the Board-Bill Gibson, Vice President of Sales, Trico Graphics, Inc., Chicago, IL; First Vice Chairman-Michael Keene, President and CEO, The John Roberts Company, Minneapolis, MN; Second Vice Chairman-Laura Lawton-Forsyth of Lawton Printing, Inc., Spokane, WA; Secretary-Timothy J. Burton of Burton & Mayer, Inc., Menomonee Falls, WI; Treasurer-Hal Slager of Trico Graphics, Inc, Chicago, IL; and Immediate Past Chairman-Ken Kaufman, President of Omniprint, Inc., Lanham, MD.
