Komori presses play important role in generating more sales

Press release from the issuing company

Rolling Meadows, Ill. - Komori America Corporation, a premier manufacturer of sheetfed and web offset printing presses, reports that Graphic Visual Solutions, located in Greensboro, N.C., is solidifying its identity as a marketing services provider with the support of its three Komori Lithrone presses. Graphic Visual Solutions recently revamped its own marketing initiatives, including creating new print advertising, direct mail, and e-mail blasts, to show its expanded marketing capabilities to old and new customers. The company's Komori presses enabled the Graphic Visual Solutions to create intensely colored, innovative materials with visually arresting graphics. One such piece caught the attention of a regional restaurant chain that Graphic Visual Solutions had been trying to work with for 10 years. A senior member of the chain's marketing team said Graphic Visual Solutions had differentiated its direct mail piece from all the others she receives on a regular basis. She hired Graphic Visual Solutions to generate a similar eye-catching print piece for her restaurant chain and help distinguish her restaurants from the competition.

"It's important to have the technology to deliver what we're promising to customers," said Brian T. Hall, president of Graphic Visual Solutions. "We are a long-time Komori company because of its impeccable reputation for consistently delivering results, and we know Komori's equipment will continue to give us the capabilities we must have to compete with the requirements needed in the future."

The stepped-up marketing efforts continue to generate two to three prospects daily, keeping Graphic Visual Solutions' Komori presses busy for two shifts to meet the increased demand for services. Graphic Visual Solutions provides to the marketplace printing, labels and packaging, digital printing, wide-format printing, direct mail, fulfillment, and design services.

The presses-a six-color Lithrone 28 (L628), a six-color Lithrone S40 (LS640) and an eight-color Lithrone S40P perfector (LS840P)-provide Graphic Visual Solutions with enhanced print quality, as well as significant reductions in production, makeready, and drying times. The perfector cuts production time for double-sided printing in half, the LS640's new ink roller temperature control system increases color stability, and the L628 shortens the makeready process through automated presets and faster plate-changing times.

"We're committed to staying successful; that's why we've promoted our services," Hill said. "We have the equipment to back us up, and the staff and creativity to drive us forward. We're in it for the long haul-and with the support of Komori, we're only looking ahead."
