Direct Marketing Association: Urgent Call to Action on Postal Issues

Press release from the issuing company

March 7, 2007 — The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) again is calling on its members to ask the Postal Governors to reject and resubmit for reconsideration specific recommendations of the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) that would result in increased postage costs for many catalog mailings by as much as 40 percent. These PRC-recommended rates could be devastating - not only to mail volumes, but to the ability of catalog mailers to communicate with customers and conduct business. Time is of the essence! Mailers have only until THURSDAY, MARCH 8, 2007, to fax comments to the Governors. Get More Info Here
