ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. U.S.A (March 7, 2007)-- EDSF, the international, non-profit organization dedicated to the document management and communications industries, announced today that four university teams will receive its annual Academic Research Grant. The grant recipients represent universities in the US, Canada, China and Germany. Each of the research teams and their mentors will undertake a document-related topic of interest, conduct the research, complete the analyses, and provide a completed research report which will be made available by EDSF as a free download at www.edsf.org. In addition to providing the research grant to conduct the study, the EDSF program has two unique aspects: student involvement and EDSF mentors. Working with a professor, students participate in the research project and have the opportunity to not only learn about the research process but gain information about the industry by exploring the selected topic. Also, EDSF provides a professional research mentor to each academic professor/student team to guide the process and ensure high-value results.
