Logistics For Print to provide free web based LTL rate shopping solution

Press release from the issuing company

Delafield, WI - Logistics For Print (LFP), provider of discounted LTL rates to the printing industry announced today that it has completed their transition from server based LTL rate shopping software to its new web based solution free to those in the printing industry.

Logistics For Print, who has been supplying discounted LTL rates for the printing industry since 2007, recently unveiled their web based solution.  LFP teamed up with 3PL Systems to create a solution that is tailored exclusively to the printing industry. The site offers complete control for the printer, from creating quotes to scheduling pickups. However, the sites main offering is LFP's rates.

"We have negotiated with our carriers to achieve up to 83% discounts off ten year old tariffs," comments Billinghurst, CEO Logistics For Print.   LogisiticsForPrint.com provides rates for a variety of national and regional carriers all at one site.  Entering an origin zip, destination, class and weight, users are offered quotes from our tier one selection of carriers. The site allows for the ability of BOL creation, shipment tracking and invoice reconciliation. These abilities are beneficial not only to the shipping department but also accounting and customer service representatives.

Quantum Group utilizes the new web based solution and discounted LTL freight rates.  "Unlike working with freight carriers directly, it is very easy to rate and compare carrier quotes and we find that receiving a consolidated invoice saves time and effort in paying our carriers. We are in complete control of rate shopping.  It is a great tool for our estimators, and customer service representatives. The pricing is very competitive, and we have seen a significant savings on our LTL freight," comments Frank Springer, VP at Quantum Group (IL).

LFP is currently allowing printing companies a 14 day trial to compare rates and explore the website and its features.  LFP will also provide a free rate savings analysis by comparing their rates to prospective customers.
