Leading global printer selects Flowman Virtual Prepress

The Leo Paper Group has chosen Flowman's Virtual Prepress solution to advance their customer service and enhance prepress production.

"This solution creates a major competitive advantage for us by tightly integrating online customer service to prepress production" says Samuel Leung, Chairman of the Leo Paper Group. Both companies will also participate in developing the system to fit the requirements of book printing. Leo Paper Group will be inviting their customers to a 'pre-launch preview' during the Frankfurt Book Fair in October this year.

Flowman's regional partner AGS (Advance Graphic Systems Limited) will take care of the installation, training and support in Leo Paper Group's main print site, Heshan Astros Printing Company in Heshan, China.

This new and unique Virtual Prepress service includes e-business features like extranet for receiving orders with integrated files, validation and remote approval of soft proofs. All modern prepress features like ink optimizing; RGB workflow and ink key presetting calculations are standard features. Integrated into the overall solution are extensive Production Tracking and Management reporting tools with many useful additional features like monthly waste reports.

The Leo Paper Group is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with headquarters in Hong Kong, specializing in the production of paper products. Heshan Astros Printing Ltd with its 20,000 employees is one of the largest print sites in the world.
