FOSTER CITY, Calif. – March 6, 2007 – EFI, the world leader in color digital print servers, superwide format printers and inks, and print management solutions, today announced that it has entered into a distribution arrangement with Ernest Green & Son, Ltd., for distribution of its VUTEk® product line. Ernest Green & Son is the largest independent graphic arts dealer in Canada, with staff in more than 10 cities across the country. “We consider the VUTEk product line from EFI to be the premier product available in its class, and the EFI and VUTEk name recognition is critical to us,” said Doug Green, President of Ernest Green & Son. “Combining their name recognition and product leadership with the largest independent graphic arts supplier in Canada lends credibility to Ernest Green and is a benefit to EFI as well.” Ernest Green & Son has been an EFI dealer for a number of years, carrying products such as EFI’s ColorProof® XF production and proofing application and its ubiquitous Fiery digital color print server. The company reports that the addition of EFI’s VUTEk product line is in response to increasing demand from its commercial print customers. “These commercial printing companies are looking to grow their businesses by adding new offerings to the portfolio of services they provide to their customers.
