PIM adds new utility rate reduction service

Press release from the issuing company

Roseville, MN – The Printing Industry of Minnesota, Inc. (PIM) has recently added a new service for members. In addition to insurance and environmental services, members now have access to utility rate reduction services. Valdi Stefanson, president of your UTILITY WATCH DOG, offers evaluations of business energy costs.

"I look forward to working with all PIM members, big and small," said Valdi. "The goal is to straighten out utility rates for every member. Minnesota has a strong and vibrant base of printers that contribute to our economy and standard of living. This service is one way to keep printers active and vibrant."

Stefanson has been in the energy consulting business for 25 years. His services provide common sense and money saving advice to corporate clients throughout MN. Stefanson headed up the nonprofit Environment & Energy Resource Center in St. Paul for 20 years. He is a two-time winner of the Governor's Energy Saver Award.

Several PIM members have already realized savings totalling over $1 million in energy costs in the next five years. In most cases, members have received a lower utility rate going forward and an over-charge refund from their utility provider as a result of the electricity utility rate review. Some of those members include: Clear Lake Press, GLS Companies, Quality Label, Upfront, Ambassador Press, Advanced Web, McIntosh Embossing, Customgraphix Printing and Visions, Inc.
