Acme Printing Company appoints a new president

Press release from the issuing company

WILMINGTON, Mass. -- This week George Farraher was promoted to President of Acme Printing Company, LLC. In this capacity, Mr. Farraher will report directly to John Gaffney, CFO/COO of The MATLET Group, Acme's parent company.

He is stepping into this role after the recent death of Fran Canzano, a member of Acme's founding family and the company's long-time President.

George began working for Acme in June 1986, when it was still a family-owned business. As a young man he spent many summers and school holidays at Acme; testing his abilities in all departments.

He started his full time career as an estimator, worked for awhile in Sales and then moved into the production end of the business. George was the Manager of the Web Press department for several years before being appointed to the position of Plant manager under Quebecor World in 2004. In 2005 Acme was acquired by The MATLET Group and George was promoted to VP/General Manager.

The promotion of George to President is a key alignment in the company's management team supporting its continued commitment to delivering value and excellence.

George Farraher is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology in New York and holds a Bachelors degree in Printing Management.
